Hotel Leone is a small, privately-owned boutique hotel in Le Marche region

of Central Italy.  With 10 luxury bedrooms, each individually designed and

beautifully appointed, there is something for everyone.  

The hotel sits on the edge of the historic centre of the small hilltop town

of Montelparo and has stunning views across the rolling countryside to the

Adriatic Coast on one side and the Sibillini Mountains on the other.

The aim of this art course / retreat is to encourage the participants to move

towards a more expressive way of painting the landscape.

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the region while painting

on location with the facility to practice the elements and principles of  

design such as colour, composition, light, texture and creative experimentation

back at the studio.

A perfect fusion of realism and extraction, the freedom to interpret the stunning

Italian landscape in your own unique style, creating 

pieces that evoke both the essence of the region and personal expression.

This Inspiring and relaxing luxury painting holiday with Soraya French is for

both experienced painters and beginners to release their inner artist.

Two beautiful, picturesque National Parks are nearby, the 

Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini and the Parco Nazionale dei Monti della Laga.

The painting retreat is for a small group only.  There will typically

be between 10-12 participants.  There are 10 luxury, en-suite bedrooms

so you can share with a friend or bring a partner – even if they’re

not participating in the painting.

You’ll find fewer better places to enjoy and improve your art than in

the inspiring Le Marche countryside
